Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

Serving Times is a scheduling service for restaurants, run by Quantra Technology & Innovation LLC (QTI, LLC), a limited liability company organized in Florida ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@servingtimes.com.

The short version

What we collect

Your account. Your email address and password. The password is stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider; we never store or log it ourselves.

What you put into Serving Times. The names of your organization and locations; your team's names, roles and availability; shifts and schedules; time-off requests, with any reasons and notes; approvals and comments; and, for groups, managers' names, home locations, tasks, and the phone numbers and email addresses you choose to enter.

PINs. Staff and managers sign in to their phone pages with a short PIN. We store PINs only as hashes.

Free trials. Each person gets one free trial. To keep it that way, we keep a keyed fingerprint (an HMAC) of the email address of everyone who has created an organization — even after the account is deleted. It isn’t the address itself: we can only use it to check whether an address we’re given has already had a trial.

Billing. If you subscribe, Stripe holds your card and billing details. We keep your plan’s status, renewal date, and Stripe’s customer and subscription references, and send owners receipts and payment notices.

Visits to our public pages. On our marketing pages (the home page, the user guide and these policies) we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and clicks on "Start free" without cookies and without collecting personal information. It is not used inside the app or on staff and manager phone pages.

Logs. Like any website, our hosting and database providers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to run and secure the service.

What we don't do

Whose data it is

When a restaurant uses Serving Times, the restaurant decides what goes in and who can see it; we process that data on its behalf to provide the service. If you are a team member with a question about your information, you can ask your manager, or contact us and we will help.

Who helps us run the service

We use a small number of providers, each only for its part of the service:

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account or organization exists (except the trial fingerprint described above, which we keep so a trial can’t be restarted). When you delete something in Settings, it is deleted from our database right away. Copies in our providers' backups roll off on their normal schedules, usually within a few weeks.

Your choices

Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have additional rights, such as to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to how it is used. We honor those requests through the same channels.

Security

Connections are encrypted, passwords and PINs are stored as hashes, and access inside each organization is limited by role. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will tell you.

Children

Serving Times is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and email account owners about material changes before they take effect.
